I try to be a friend to all
A "keeper"
I once was called
Hope this means
a friend for life
It was spoken by
a friend I recall

A real friend is
one who walks in
When the rest of
the world walk out

So If I can
be that keeper
True loyal friends
we will be

we paid the price
We tried to be true,
but left feeling blue
Were we too kind,
or maybe just blind
Lets not sit in sorrow,
there’s always tomorrow

Lets look on the bright side,
we won't hide
Now be realistic,
lets get more optimistic
No longer be a fool,
life cant be all that cruel
We will dry our tears,
look forward to brighter years
