It started 20 months ago
In Netscape I.A.P.P
They came from
all over the world
From lands across the sea
Its night time here
or day time there
They would often say
The time zones we got used to
It was fun to joke and play
The rooms nightclub and adult
Were nearly always full
But times that we spent in there
Those times were never dull
Then I.A.P.P closed down one day
friends lost in cyberspace
A group of us did stay in touch
We just all found a new place
The new place it was Chatnet
Another nightclub we did form
Most friends just stayed friendly
But some kicked up a storm
We made new friends
feel welcome there
We joked or sang a song
If you become a chatter there
You learn how to be strong

The list of names
we used to see
It makes you wonder
where they can be?
They used to be there
most days and nights
Maybe now they have
found those city lights
We used to chat
about happening things
Even discussed
what their future brings
Some would chat
about their past
Or ask if their
romance would last
But lives do change,
for some they must
Yet some people here ,
gave such trust
They cared and shared
and laughed out loud
We tried to be
a friendly crowd
The Chatnet Nightclub
was always full
The people there
were never dull
Maybe the club
will fill again
Then chat with friends
will never end
