Emotions

We write down what we're feeling
Our thoughts and minds are reeling
It helps to open up yourself
Dont leave emotions on the shelf
Let tears fall on the page if sad
and scream out loud if you are mad
We sometimes hide it all inside
To scared to hurt
someone else's pride
They sometimes ask if you're ok
So you hide emotions
'till another day.

When you cry upon a pillow
Or tears fall down a cheek
Its just emotions overflowing
Not a sign of being weak
We show emotions in different ways
We can often loose control
We cry of memories cherished
The ones in my heart and soul
So when I cry I’m not ashamed
It’s not a thing I try to hide
Teardrops flow when I feel pain
Why keep it bottled inside
